Don Goodman, Job-Hunt’s IT Job Search Expert, has over 20 years of experience helping people find their next job.

A graduate of the Wharton School of Business and Stanford University’s Executive Program, Don started his career as a computer programmer where he invented the first financial application with an active data dictionary, and led global implementations for such industry leaders as Ford, Target, MCI, Safeway and GTE.

As Chief Operating Officer, he took a company public and subsequently sold it a few years later to Computer Associates. Don then advanced to a senior executive role at a Division of a Fortune 500 firm specializing in IT Staffing, Software and Education. In that role, he managed Career Services at 11 campuses nationwide, successfully placing over 10,000 adult graduates per year into IT positions.

Don also directed nationwide teams of recruiters and staffing professionals to support the temporary and permanent placement of individuals into top companies. Throughout his career, he has led 4 turnarounds and over 6 startups to record levels of revenues, profits, and market share.
