  • Archaeological Institute of America - Click on the continent or region and see the opportunities for fieldwork world-wide. Their Privacy Policy is posted.
  • American Chemical Society - ACS has a substantial Careers section, including interneships and many other jobs. It also includes salary survey information and a mentorship program (for Society members). A privacy policy is posted.
  • American Mathematical Society - (AMS) maintains Mathjobs.org which has job opportunities for mathematicians, also many career resources for mathematicians and information for students. You provide personal information if you set up a "portfolio" but there is no privacy policy.
  • The Environmental Careers Organization -- A national non-profit dedicated since 1972 to promoting careers in the environment, specializing in paid internships, searchable by U.S. region. They have posted their Privacy Policy.
  • EnvironmentalCareer.info - Search for a job by category (e.g. academia, advocacy, etc.) and metro area (state in the U.S. and country). They have posted their Privacy Policy, and privacy protection options are available for job seekers who post their resumes.
  • Environmental Jobs and Careers - EcoEmploy has environmental job postings (for the U.S. and Canada), links to government environmental job openings, recruiters, and employers by state or province. There are also links to international resources, government resources in the U.S. and Canada, salary surveys, etc. They have posted their Privacy Policy.
  • NatureJobs - From the publishers of Nature magazine, search for jobs in the sciences by keyword, location, and subject (e.g. astsronomy/astrophysics, bioinformatics, etc.). Their Privacy Policy is posted and resumes have 3 privacy protection options.
  • FASEB Careers OnLine -- Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) Career Resources specializes in positions for biomedical scientists, physicians, and technicians. The Online Classifieds are updated weekly. No privacy policy is posted.
  • JOM - from the Journal of Minerals, Metals, and Materials, the 3 latest months of job ads in the minerals, metals, and materials fields. No privacy policy is posted but resumes are not collected.

  • ScienceJobs - an international science jobs site from the publisher of New Scientist magazine. Search for jobs by location, biology or chemistry, academic, industry, government, postdoc, and/or keyword. Published privacy policy indicates that they offer resume confidentiality.
  • SeaGrant - fellowships and funding from Sea Grant, the primary univerity-based research program on the use and conservation of the U.S. coasts from NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration).
  • PhD's.org - employment opportunities for job seekers with PhD's in science, math, or engineering, including faculty and research positions and grad school rankings.
  • Science Careers - from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (and Science Magazine). Job seekers who post their resume have the option of an "open" (resume and contact information visible to employers) or "confidential" (e-mail contact only). Search job postings by employer, position title, or date posted and several other options. Their Privacy Policy is posted.
