Jobs are also open in Winston-Salem (66), Raleigh (65), Greensboro (64), Durham (51) , and many other North Carolina locations.
The job titles in greatest demand for CVS/Caremark in North Carolina are Pharmacy Technician, Customer Service, Shift Supervisor, Photo Lab Supervisor, Merchandiser, and Beauty Advisor, plus Overnight Shift Supervisor, and Overnight Crew.

2. Harris Teeter – 1,635 jobs
With its headquarters in Matthews, NC, and major distribution centers in Greensboro, Indian Trail, and High Point, Harris Teeter is a chain of “neighboord food & pharmacy” stores spread across 8 states and the District of Columbia.
Currently, the open North Carolina positions are in Charlotte (291), Cary (131), Raleigh (127), Greensboro (109), and several other cities and towns. Pizza Hut is an American pizza restaurant chain. The jobs Pizza Hut currently has open are located in Charolotte (84), Fayetteville (42), Raleigh (41), Askville (41), Winston-Salem (39), and many other locations.
The job titles in greatest demand include Shift Manager, Assistant General Manager, Team Member, Delivery Driver, Restaurant General Manager, and Server.
5. University of North Carolina - 1,011 jobs
University of North Carolina (UNC) is a multi-campus university composed of all 16 of North Carolina’s public institutions that grant baccalaureate degrees, which includes Asheille, Chapel Hill, Charolotte, Greensboro, Pembroke, Wilmington, Winston-Salem, and several other campus locations.
Open positions currently include Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and Research at UNC Pembroke and the County Extension Director for the University of North Carolina Systems, plus Academic Advisor positons, many Assistant Professor positions in different departments and schools, several Assistant or Associate Professor positions, and a few full Professor positions in addition to many administrative opportunities.
6. Food Lion – 930 jobs
Headquartered in Salisbury, NC, Food Lion is a chain of grocery stores which operates in 11 Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern states with almost 70,000 employees. In addition, it has 7 distribution centers serving the stores, with two of them also located in Salisbury, NC. Currently, Food Lion’s North Carolina opportunities include positions in Raleigh (65), Charlotte (63), Fayetteville (31), Durham (30), Greensboro (24), and many more.

Family Dollar is a chain of variety stores headquartered in Matthews, NC, with over 7,000 stores in 45 states plus the District of Columbia. Currently, Family Dollar has open positions in Charlotte (102), Fayetteville (35), Winston-Salem (28), Greensboro (18), Raleigh (17), and several other locations across the state.
Assistant Store Manager jobs and Customer Service Representative jobs currently represent nearly all of the jobs open in North Carolina with Family Dollar. In addiiton, there are some buyer and assistant buyer positions, IT, HR, and other business service jobs.
9. Duke University - 835 jobs
Located in Durham, NC, Duke University is comprised of two major organizations: Duke University, which is comprrised of 10 schools and colleges, and the Duke University Health System. With more than 30,000 faculty and staff, Duke has been named a “best place to work” by several organizations including Carolina Parent, Computerworld, The Scientist, and AARP.
The vast majority of the Duke open positions are in Durham (600) with 53 open in Raleigh. The remaining open jobs are scattered across several other towns in the state. 10. Taco Bell – 643 jobs
Taco Bell is a chain of fast-food Tex-Mex restaurants. In North Carolina, Taco Bell has jobs open in Charlotte (66), Greensboro (50), Fayetteville (45), Raleigh (30), and many more at other North Carolina Taco Bell locations. 11. Best Buy - 589 jobs
Best Buy is a very large retailer of consumer electronics with many stores distributed across the USA. In North Carolina, the open positions are in Charlotte (106), Raleigh (49), Garner (33), Durham (30), and many more locations.

Staples is a very large chain of office supply retail stores with stores across the country. Currently, Staples has openings in North Carolina in the following locations: Charlotte (44), Raleigh (35), Wilmington (23), Greensboro (22), Cary (22), and more.
These open positions appear to be concentrated in the Copy & Print Center currently with many Copy & Print Center Expert and Copy & Print Center Associate positions open. KFC (also know as Kentucky Fried Chicken) is a large chain of fast food restaurants across the USA. In North Carolina, KFC has current openings in Charlotte (40), Fayetteville (36), Gastonia (24), Greenville (14) and many more cities and towns in North Carolina. Open jobs include Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager, plus Team Member and Shift Supervisor jobs.
14. BURGER KING - 477 jobs
The famous fast food burger chain – also known as “BK” - is hiring at several locations in North Carolina including Charlotte (51), Fayetteville (44), Winston-Salem (30), Greensboro (28), and several more North Carolina communities. The largest number of opportunities are in Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager positions, plus Team Member, Shift Coordinator, and Sales Profit & Operations Coach positions.
15. Carolinas HealthCare System – 455 jobs
Based in Charlotte, the Carolinas HealthCare System (CHS) operates a healthcare system covering both North and South Carolina with a network of 650 “care locations” including academic medical centers, hospitals (15, including Levine Children’s Hospital), physician practices, surgical and rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, nursing homes, and hospice and palliative care. Currently, CHS has 325 openings in Charlotte, 47 in Concord, and others distributed across their network in North Carolina. Jobs currently open include a wide variety of medical positions including Nurse, MRI Technologist, CT Technolgist, Respiratory Therapist, Surgical Technologist, Radiology Technican, and many more.
