The 11 States with Growing Economies

In case you’re wondering how well your state is doing, or if you’re in the market for a move to a better location, you might want to check these states out, assuming you don’t already live in one of them.

Of course, if you are considering moving to one of these states, you would do some research into what parts of their economies are growing, the cost of living, who you know there, best places to live, etc. 

And, the possibility exists that where ever you are right now may be the next hot spot.  Bad economies encourage entrepreneurs who know that – if they can – a bad economy is the perfect time to grow their businesses and their market share when less confident competitors are backing off or laying low. This week, we are very pleased to welcome author, official “searchologist,” and award-winning blogger Jim Stroud to the roster of accomplished job search and career professionals contributing their expert advice to help Job-Hunt’s visitors.

Jim Stroud is Job-Hunt’s Job Search Technology Expert, with the accent on “search”!

Based on his experience with the recruiting world and his in-depth understanding of search technology, particularly Google, Jim will help job seekers learn how to leverage search – and other – technologies to find new ways to use Internet technologies for their job search.

In his career, Jim served as a Technical Sourcing Consultant and was a regular contributor to Microsoft’s Technical Careers Blog while employed at Microsoft.
