Job Boards
- EcoEmploy - jobs in the environmental protection field. Jobs are organized with the most recent at the top. Select your state to see the jobs for that location. It also offers a very large directory linking to environmental employers, including federal and state employers, with additonal environmental career articles available. A privacy policy is posted.
- Energy Careers - job postings many aspeacts of the oil and gas industries, including exploration, production, refining, transportation, marketing, IT, and more.
- EnvironmentalCareer.info - Search for a job by category (e.g. academia, advocacy, etc.) and
metro area (state in the U.S. and country). They have posted their
Privacy Policy, and privacy protection options are available for job
seekers who post their resumes.
- Environmental Career Opportunities - one segment of the "green industry" but covered in depth, including internships, with a full range of environmental job postings, from advocacy to law and policy. A privacy policy is not posted.
- Environmental
Jobs and Careers - EcoEmploy has environmental job postings (for
the U.S. and Canada), links to government environmental job openings,
recruiters, and employers by state or province. There are also links
to international resources, government resources in the U.S. and Canada,
salary surveys, etc. They have posted their Privacy Policy.
- Great Green Jobs - from the Mother Earth News people, job postings searchable by keyword, location, and other criteria.
- GreenBiz Jobs - the international job section of GreenBiz.com, "the voice of business in the green economy," postings searchable by location and keywords.
- Green Career Central - job postings plus many useful resources, including self-assessment and career guidance to help you figure out where you might fit, plus industry information, e-books, and more. Use of the site is free for 14 days, then there is a charge of $19/month or $49 for 3 months use. Probably worth the $19, if not the $49, and you do get to try before you buy. A privacy policy is posted.
- GreenDreamJobs (part of SustainableBusiness.com) -search the job postings from across the world using several different criteria or browse the newest listings plus a substantial collection of relevant associations by type of green industry. A privacy policy is posted. Events, news, and resources are also available.
- greenjobs - focused on the renewable energy segment of the green industry, jobs are posted by employers across the world and are searchable by keyword and location. Registration is required to apply, when you find a job you like. A privacy policy is posted.
- GreenJobSpider - aggregates jobs from many green job boards, so you can search the jobs posted on many job boards in one place.
- NatureJobs - From the publishers of Nature magazine, search for jobs in
the sciences by keyword. Their Privacy Policy is posted.
- RenewableEnergyWorld - search for a job based on keywords and location or browse by technology (e.g. solar, hydro, geothermal, etc.) or profession (finance, legal, etc.). Registration is not required to apply for a job. Resumes may be posted, and a privacy policy is available. News, podcasts, stock reports, and more also available.
- SmartGridCareers.com - search for a job based on keyword, location, and/or category or browse by category. Has a directory of employers, and other information for job seekers.
- solar jobs - UK-based with solar industry jobs across the world, including the US.Search by keyword and/or location, or browse through the categories. Registration is required to apply, when you find a job you like. A privacy policy is posted.
- stopdodo - job board for international environmental jobs, searchable by category, location, and/or keyword.
- SustainLane Jobs - the jobs section of SustainLane, a site offering a plethora of sustainability information, enables job search by location and keywords
- TreeHugger Jobs - the jobs section of TreeHugger.com, a media outlet for the sustainability industry, is searchable by location and keyword
