Many job sites, particularly the Employment Super Sites, include international opportunities as well.
Multiple Countries
- JobPilot
- the geographic focus is Europe, but they also offer opportunities
in Asia, Austrlia, and the U.S. Pick the country and then follow the
menu choices for each country's site, in the country's native language.
- PlanetRecruit
- search for jobs by location (country and region or world-wide),
job term (e.g. full-time, part-time, etc.), job function (e.g. accounting,
admin, etc.), sector (e.g. advertising, agriculture, architecture,
etc.), date the opportunity was listed in their database, and/or keyword.
- TeleJob - a Swiss site for technology jobs in Switzerland and throughout Europe, in 5 languages.
Czech Republic -- jobs.cz - search for jobs in the Czech Republic!
Germany -- CareerNet - a German job service (in German, of course).
Ireland
- Ireland.com/jobs - from The Irish Times. Be sure to check out the Jobs Toolkit to see salary information, employment law, a directory of recruiters, and relocation information.
Spain -- InfoJobs.Net - jobs in Spain (in Spanish).
Sweden -- Platsautomaten - a list of available jobs in Sweden maintained by the National Labour Market Board of Sweden. Updated daily. (currently only available in Swedish).
UK
- Britain's
Job Agent - a simple site offering you the opportunity to sign
up for e-mailed U.K. job opportunities. You select the location and
job title.
- Guardian Unlimited
Jobs - job ads from the newspaper as well as online employer postings.
Search through the listings by sector (e.g. media, marketing/PR, etc.),
browse through the listing of employers or recruitment consultancies,
use the "tool box" which includes e-mail alterts for new
jobs, a place to save job ads and searches, and to keep track of your
online applications.
- JobServe - IT
jobs in the UK posted by over 1,800 IT recruitment agencies. Search
for IT jobs by type (contract or permanent), days since the job was
posted, and keyword. They also offer e-mail notification of new job
opportunities.
- JobSite UK - the Quick Search on the home page picks through job postings from
the most recent 7 days. Select "Power Search" to search on your skills/job
title, desired location, type of job (all, permanent, or contract/temp),
preferred industry sector (e.g. accounting, automotive, etc.). You
can turn on "filtering" to include job opportunities with specific
keywords and to exclude opportunities with other keywords. Registered
users can leave their resumes/CVs. Be sure to choose "Hide" if you
want to use it to send to an employer only when you apply for a specific
opportunity. Otherwise, it will be distributed to recruiters and potential
employers.

Careers - select a job category (e.g. accountancy, banking & finance, etc.) to view the job openings in that category.
- Monster.co.uk
- covers jobs in the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world, with the
usual Monster excellence. Search for jobs by location, category (e.g.
accounting/auditing, administrative support, etc.), and/or keyword.
Or, leave up to five versions of your resume with four different levels
of confidentiality available to you.
- TotalJobs - primarily jobs in Great Britain, but also includes opportunities from other locations in the U.K., Europe, and even the USA. On the home page, you can initiate a category search by clicking on the category name (e.g. Accountancy, Agriculture, etc.) which enables you to search within category by job type (permanent or contract), sector (practice, commerce/industry, or public services), qualifications (e.g. all, part-qualified, qualified, etc.), location, and/or keywords. Or, select Search-All from the home page to search through the jobs database by location, keyword, and/or category (e.g. accountancy, aerospace, etc.). E-mailed opportunities are also available.
