Schools and Degrees
Bachelor's degrees are available in construction management, construction science, building science and civil engineering. Some colleges and universities provide a master's degree in construction management or construction science. Many two-year colleges offer construction management or construction technology programs.

Construction worker supervisors oversee skilled and unskilled workers at construction sites. They ensure the construction workers efficiently use materials, equipment and their time. Construction supervisors need to have extensive knowledge of construction. Employers usually prefer those who have skills and experience in construction trades and also have leadership ability. A lot of construction supervisors don't have a college degree, however an increasing number of employers prefer candidates who have some college training.
