Promotions managers combine purchasing incentives like rebates, coupons, free samples, and contests with advertising campaigns to increase sales.

These managers usually work in office environments, however frequent travel may be a requirement of the position, and they generally work for long hours, especially when trying to complete a campaign on schedule.
