State Bar Associations

Every state has a "bar association" for the attorneys in the state. They provide many services to their members including continuing education, meetings and events, and, often, job listings. Below, the 51 state bar associations are listed, in alphabetical order by the state name (which is bolded).

Professional and industry associations and societies are great places to make connections to your next job! Check out "Tapping the Hidden Job Market" for ideas on some of the ways you can leverage associations for your job search. Also see Job-Hunt's Law and Law Enforcement Career Resources category, the national and international Law and Law Enforcement Associations and Societies, and the Women's Bar Associations.
